FAQ’s
How will my building/structure be delivered? All products are flat packed for home delivery. Assembly instructions are available for all products and can be emailed through prior to purchase if required. Just mail with details of the instructions you require.
Will I need to treat my building/structure? All wooden products are delivered in either a natural untreated finish or with a preparatory treatment. To validate the warranty untreated products must be treated either during or immediately after construction as advised in the assembly instructions with a recognosed external wood preserver. Products with a preparatory treatment must be treated within 3 months. Products maybe shown in a stained colour etc but this is only to show the potential finish that can be achieved.
What tools will I need? Typically you will need a Cross head screw driver, Hammer, Mallet, Sharp knife, Drill & bits, Spirit level, Silicon sealant & a Step ladder but this may vary from product to product. The best way to check is to request the instructions.
Will the weather affect my product? As timber is a natural material, there are certain weather conditions that may affect the materials properties. In times of excessive dry spells the material may lose some of its internal moisture causing a certain degree of shrinkage on a panel and in periods of excessive rain there will be a certain amount of swelling throughout the wooden panels. This process can not be avoided. If you have problems with certain boards shrinking in dry spells try to decrease the amount of direct sunlight on the building or the amount of air passing over the building. During hot spells spray water directly onto the panels with the aid of a garden hose. Splitting and warping may occur which is perfectly natural and will not affect the strength or longevity or any guarantee given on the product.
Do I get all the accessories shown in the photo? No - The item being purchased is the structure/item described. Other items used within the photos are to demonstrate everyday use only.
