Quad-X ATV Towed Broadcast Spreader 350kg or 500kg Plastic Coated
The range of Quad-X Plastic coated sowers is ideal for spreading a variety of fertiliser and grass seed. These ground driven sowers have been designed with contractors in mind, for frequent use and are extremely durable thanks to a plastic coated finish, stainless steel components and double sealed bearings. A plastic coated finish provides excellent resistance to the corrosive nature of fertiliser.
It is available in a 350kg, 7-bag capacity with extension side options available to increase the capacity to 500kg/10 bag .
The specially shaped spinner is equipped with stainless steel riser vanes which lift granules before spreading them, giving a higher trajectory on the exit of the spinner. A 3 to 1 gearbox ratio also ensures a high spinner speed for impressive spread widths of up to 45 ft / 14m. The adjustable shutter settings can be set to suit required flow rates.
For transport of the ATV sower, the spinner can be disengaged. We offer 2 options: either lever engagement which can be reached from seated on the quad or pin engagement. The engagement system outside the gearbox means it is easier to maintain and gives less hassle since no fertiliser residue can enter the seals in the gearbox.
These sowers can be towed behind a quad or any vehicle with a 50mm tow ball. Fitted with floatation tyres they are ideal for sowing on soft ground or hard to reach areas when a tractor and sower are not suitable. With a wide wheel base they are very stable machines. The plastic coated sower is available in kit form or assembled.
